Considering that the phone arguabaly proves to be over the edge of all other Series 40 conterparts, how would someone resist this inevitable beauty? But just before we jump into any conclusions, we would like to let you know about the drawbacks of this irresistable handset.

First of all, the phone is an expensive deal. Besides the clarity of the images clicked by the 0.5 megapixel SVGA camera is not as satisfactory as it should be. The phone is made of a different phone menu, unlike the other handsets introduced by Nokia. The New Menu is introduced under the context of making the User access easier, but on the contrary it makes it difficult for the users who have been using Nokia handsets in the past, to access the Applications and Menu. Although Nokia claims a Battery life of 160 mins of talktime and 8 days stand-by time, sources revealed that the Nokia 8800 lasted for 60 mins of talktime and 2 days of stand-by time. To overcome this drawback Nokia provides an extra battery with the sales package. Imaging changing the battery while you are on the move.

But the 8800 handset doesnt loose its attractiveness, in the presence of its elegant screen, Stainless steel finishing and the luxurious lookz. So, that is Nokia unvieling the sheer elegance, the 8800.
