Nokia has just unveiled the 6288 3G slider phone. It’s the same as the existing Nokia 6280, except for the battery which is apparently of a slightly higher capacity (1100mAh vs. 970mAh).

The rest of the specifications are exactly the same:

Series 40 UI,

2 megapixel main camera and a VGA camera for video calling,

Dedicated camera and zoom buttons,

QVGA (240×320), 262k color display,

Bluetooth printer support,

6mb internal memory and miniSD card support, etc.

It also ships with a 512MB miniSD card.
The new Nokia 6288 is supposed to be ‘practical and affordable’, being priced at 325 EUR (around Rs. 20,000), which is too much, considering that the current Nokia 6280 in India costs Rs. 15,500 approximately.
